Dêba-êrè Fêqê (/ˈdɘba/ /ˈɘrè/ [weird; strange; peculiar] [sugar]) is a subtropical Town located in the Qíithtathê Zone of the Union of Engineers.
The name Dêba-êrè Fêqê is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Dêba-êrè Fêqê was founded by Tsîj Zeshëm, who was culturaly Iron Elven.
Climate
Dêba-êrè Fêqê has a yearly average temperature of 26°C (78°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 28°C (82°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 25°C (77°F). Dêba-êrè Fêqê receives an average of 144 cm/y (56 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. Dêba-êrè Fêqê covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 1696 m (5564 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Dêba-êrè Fêqê was founded durring the late 9th century, by Tsîj Zeshëm. The establishment of Dêba-êrè Fêqê suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.
Dêba-êrè Fêqê was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 9th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Dêba-êrè Fêqê is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
Dêba-êrè Fêqê is buildings are speckled and packed arround narrow flagstone streets with seemingly no patern to them. It appears as if the town's residents simply built streets as they pleased and squeazed buildings in wherever and howeave rpossible, creating an organic, frustrating to navigate, maze of a town. The town has a defencive wall made from querried stone. The wall is equipped with a full set of battlments but the nature of its construction methodology leaves it somewhat vulnerable to siege equipment. That said, the town is well defended against anything short of an army. The town's cost-cutting-focused defences have recently undergone extensive repairs and renovations, such that the repairwork is imeadiently apparent and can be spotted due to the diffring ages of materials. One can't help but wonder what brought the need for those repairs to the town.
The first thing you notice about Dêba-êrè Fêqê is the large sign at the entrance welcoming you to their humble town. Children come up to you and say hi, some asking if you’ve fought any big monsters, and others just zipping away after their hello. The adults are much the same. By the time you’ve made it a significant way into the town you’ve been invited to a tavern for a pint to drink in exchange for news of the world. You’ve also had no less than three older women give you a sweetroll and direct your attention to their still unmarried children. It would be creepy if it wasn't so sincere.

Dêba-êrè Fêqê possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Town. Dêba-êrè Fêqê's grid is powered by hydrogalvanic generators.
Dêba-êrè Fêqê possesses an older civil lighting system consisting of street lamps. In spite of the Galvanic Grid, these lights continue to use their old fule sources to provide nighttime illumination to all city streets.

Cultural Notes
Dêba-êrè Fêqê's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used has a sleek, linear appearance with stylized, often geometric ornamentation. The primary facade of its buildings often featured a series of set backs that create a stepped outline. Low-relief decorative panels can be found at entrances, around windows, along roof edges or as string courses. It was best known for its use of smooth finish building materials such as stucco, concrete block, glazed brick or mosaic tile. Decorative details can incorporate various artistic or exotic motifs to suit the building's function or the architect's whim. Chevrons, zigzags, and other geometrical motifs are common forms of ornament.
